Private First Class Johnny Earl Frisk, Served with Company C, 1st Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, United States Army Vietnam.

Dear PFC Johnny Frisk,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman with the 1st Cavalry. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

It was about 55 years ago the last time I saw my cousin Johnny, my memory of him is faint, I was 5 when my uncle and the family came to our house for a visit, Johnny was a little older then I, But I member he was a caring and fun guy.
When I heard he was killed in action I remember my mother was heart broken,
and I remember crying, He has and will continue to be missed.

Remembering and Honoring you Johnny on this Memorial Day. My memories are a little sketchy, as we were just little kids last time I saw you in Hobbs, New Mexico. But I remember what a kind older cousin you were to me. R.I.P. dear cousin. Gone these long years, but never forgotten..
