do not stand at my grave and weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

Thank You

Dear SSGT Dean Frey,
Thank you for your service as an Indirect Fire Infantryman. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Family Ties

Deborah Knotts Allen, I am your cousin, daughter of Max and niece to your father, Ron & Uncle "Buddy" Dean. Uncle Dean passed 5 months before I was born, but I go and visit his grave every year on Memorial Day and put a flag and luminaria on it. My daddy, Max passed in 1982. He always spoke of our Uncle Dean and really missed him. I'm happy to know all 3 brothers are together again. I remember meeting your father one time in California, where I still live. I've been looking for our Frey family for a long time with no success, so this makes me happy to see your comment from last year. I hope we can connect some day and talk about our family history. I do not know much of my Frey family, but would really like to know about my daddy's side of the family. I've included a photo of Uncle Dean's grave. Thank you for your sacrifice Uncle "Buddy" Dean! We love you!

Family ties

Ronny Knotts , son of Olive and brother of Max, was my father. We always lived in Indiana/Ohio for the majority of our lives and never met most of the Freys. My dad flew out to California to visit many times. MY daughter and I came with him back in 1984.
I remember when Dean was killed. I had forgotten he was called Buddy. We remember his sacrifice. He was quite handsome and so young.
I pray he and my dad are hanging out together forever.
Thank you both for your service.

Deborah Knotts Allen
