honoring you...
A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.

Thank you Woody
I remember "Woody" Freund as a true friend. While we didn't hang out together and mostly only saw each other on Sundays, I'll always remember him as a good friend. We both attended Albright United Church in Mishawaka. He was a good athlete, played running back at South Bend Central High. Soft spoken and humble, Woody was more of a gentleman than most high school boys in the early 60s. Thank you Woody for your sacrifice and for being my friend.

Thank You
Dear PFC Ernest Freund,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
