Freppon endowed scholarship fund It contains 41 personal letters, graphic combat descriptions, R&R anecdotes, Vietnam battle histories and comrades’ letters about Jack. Jack earned many medals for his service including the Distinguished Service Cross, Silver Star, Bronze Stars, and Purple Hearts.

Hey, Jack, you were especially remembered on October 28, 2023 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Join key speakers Colonel (R) Todd Mayer ‘81, Mr. Jeff Freppon, and Congressman Brad Wenstrup at Gate of Heaven Cemetery to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War. Come and show your deep gratitude to this generation of valorous men and women who served our great country.
This event will honor the 9 million Vietnam veteransand the families who served in active duty during the Vietnam Era. Rosary to follow after the presentation, and all are welcome to join in prayer together.
