Captain Jack...My 1st Company Cmdr.
In January of 1969 I reported into G/2/27 in California as a new 2nd Lt. Capt. Jack was the company commander. He made life fairly miserable for me BUT he did it in order to make sure I didn't screw the pooch in Vietnam. He was an unforgettable character. RIP Capt Jack!

Gratefully,
Joel Campbell
