Arthur, you were a patriotic inspiration to us Newton guys growing up. We would see you come home with your Army uniform and looked up to you. Many of went in service, I learned of your death after I came home from Nam. God Bless you, and Thank you for Serving our Country.

As part of the Gridley High School Posting Project I am leaving remembrances for our fallen heroes of the Vietnam War. I commend you for your fearless courage and vigor you donated to our nation. You are unforgotten, and deeply appreciated. Our nation would be broken and nonexistent if not for selfless soldiers who gave their all. Thank you.

Dear Arthur,
