Bittersweet story
Came across your name from a ghost story from your childhood friend who saw you walking on the street the night before your wake. Sounded like you were saying goodbye one last time. From what I’ve read about your life it’s not fair that you were drafted. I hope your mom was supported by friends and family after your death. You were her only child.

honoring you...
Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrance from your classmate Jim Galvin is poignant. As long as you are remembered you will remain in our hearts forever…..

Photo of Gerald Fox
The photo here of Gerald Fox was taken by my brother C. Mark Judge who was also KIA on 12-July-1967. I did not have all of the names of the people in Mark's photos when I posted them. I am happy to see someone identified Gerald and used it here.
Sincerely,
Paul Judge

Same name
I didn't know Gerald Lawrence Fox. I found him on this website after looking for my own profile. We had a couple things in common , mainly our names and the fact that we both served in VN as infantrymen. My name is Gerald Paul Fox. I served in the 198th Infantry Brigade in Chu Lai in 1968 -1969.
Fortunately for me, I made it back while Gerald Lawrence paid the ultimate sacrifice for his country. Never understood how some of us were lucky enough to make it home alive and others weren't. Just wanted to say to anyone reading that his sacrifice will always be appreciated by those of us who served in the cause against Communism in South Vietnam. God Bless Gerald Lawrence Fox.
