Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. You died at 20 years of age on my 19th birthday. I am now 73 and have lived a long and fulfilling life. It is tragic you never had that same opportunity. May you rest in eternal peace.

American Hero

I remember that as if it was yesterday January 31, 1968 when Of. Wilson ,PFC Fowlke and I got hit. Can't get it out of my mind. Lt. Wilson died on the 31st. PFC Fowlke died 19 days later. I set and think back on that day offen. I pray for both of the family's. Both PFC Fowlke and Lt Wilson was a hero
