53 year later - thank you for your service
I am sorry we could never find you. I still have the bracelet in 1986 when our ROTC unit wanted to honor those who came before us. and you still hold a place in my life. Served 22 years in the Navy.

Rest in Peace AE2 James J. Fowler
To a man I have never met, to a peaceful soul that shall never be forgotten. To all the brave men and women who fought so valiantly for the freedom of so many, I salute you!
My cousin Ted Jarrett served our great country in the Vietnam War and lived to tell the tale of brotherhood, friendship, dedication and service to your fellow man. He presented me with a bracelet baring the name of AE2 James J. Fowler in 1986, the year I graduated high school which I still wear so proudly today. These two gentlemen knew each other and he asked me if I would wear this bracelet and never forget his fallen comrades. I made that promise and still wear this bracelet to this very day.
Thank you for your service dear Sir, may God bless your soul as I pray for you, your family and all who served, have served and are serving this great nation.
To all the brave service men and women from past & present, thank you for all you do and God Bless!
