Mike I remember talking to you on top of the Commons Building days before you were shipped out-your girlfriend was the lab helper in my dad’s chemistry class. You impressed me then and I recently went to Washington DC and found your name on the wall. Thank you for your service.

honoring you...
Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. In the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years. May you rest in eternal peace.

Thank You
Dear PFC Michael Foust,
Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. It is Columbus Day weekend, and another national holiday has arrived. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Mike, you are remembered
I recall the time we spent together at MCRD in San Diego, where you were our squad leader, and time at ITR afterward. The last time we me was days before your death near the Sand Ramp at Tan Hy hamlet. I was on another operation when I learned you had been killed as the CAP near there was overrun. My best to a good Marine.
