Aug. 10/68 Daniel was a casualty during a friendly fire
Rocket attack by our own jets during a fire fight in the ashaw valley. We were together there. He was shot in the foot about six weeks earlier and just returned to the unit.
I think of him often.

I never had the chance to meet you Uncle Butch, so I want to say thank you for all that you gave and did for our country. You are truly not forgotten.
