Thank You
Dear Sgt Dennis Forney,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. It is now fall, and as the seasons pass, it is important to remember you all. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering An American Hero
Dear SGT Dennis Ray Forney, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, Sir
Curt Carter

For A Relative Newly Discovered
Please know that your dedication to duty is known by those relatives you never knew existed. My Dad, uncles and cousins served in the Army and Marines. I served as a Navy Chaplain. Proud to share the same last name with you and I thank you for your service. May you have found peace and rest in the arms of our Loving God.

Remembering Dennis on Memorial Day
I was with Dennis the day he was hit, January 27th, 1969. He was a super guy and was sorely missed by all in Alpha Company, 3rd of the 7th, 199th Light Infantry Brigade. I ofter think of Dennis, especially on Memorial Day, Veterans Day and January 27th every year.
