I was the third M-60 gunner I was on the far right side we were providing supporting fire for our unit maneuvers when we lost fire from two of the M-60 fire support. We were confused at such a great lost of two friends who gave all in the name of Freedom. I live with this every day for we did our best.

I will Never Forget
Dear SSG Humberto Acosta-Rosario, I received your MIA bracelet in January, 2018. I will always wear it and if I can, I will ask my son now serving to continue to wear it when God calls me to be with Him. It is not by accident that I wear your bracelet. I started looking for MIA/POWs from Puerto Rico and I found you. Today (2/3/2018) I read all seven pages of messages and now I am writing you another one. Dear Boricua, you are not forgotten. I pray for you and your family at night. I am also a soldier(retired now) and hope that we can meet in Heaven. Rest in peace fellow soldier.

I remember you.
I bought this bracelet, out of all the others, because it spoke the loudest to me.It said, I'm here don't leave with out me! We need each other, and at that moment I realized how lost i was. And now as I read his bio, i know what he was trying to tell me. We need to be remembered. And I do.
