THE WALL OF FACES

A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...

Dear Sp4 Michael Ford,
Thank you for your service as a Tactical Wire Operations Specialist. It is now fall, and as the seasons pass, it is important to remember you all. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

I think of you every day of my life Mike! Sometimes you come visit me in a dream to let me know you are happy and Okay. I think how life would be so different to have you here,and wonder why your life was cut short. I guess you know Pat was killed the following month.Both my brothers gone in a month! I miss you so much and cry often .Mom and Dad never got over your deaths. And neither did Colleen or I. I love you both so much and can't wait to see you both again in Heaven.' I am so proud of you for your sacrifice serving this country ! You are my hero always and forever! Your Little sis, Kathy

Dear SP4 Michael Eugene Ford, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
