Remembering An American Hero
Dear LCPL Clifford Eugene Ford Jr, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, Sir
Curt Carter

A Great legacy
Snooky was a couple of years ahead of me, but I remember him well-everyone knew of him. At the JHS football games he always stood out as a leader. He was
tough, smart, and inspirational. I will never forget the announcement they made at the football game of his tremendous sacrifice to our country. Everyone was in total shock. Snooky, you are very much missed!

A hero
I remember Snooky as a friend. We played football for a short time together. I went on to retire from the USAF. Snooky and I spoke every day and I, like all others in our town, were in total shock when we received the terrible news. I, like you, served, but you gave all and we will never forget. I miss you.
