A Fellow Corpsman

Though we never met, we served in the same Battalion at the same time. On the day you and Reid Isler,HM3 were killed, I was in Phu Bai recovering from a noncombat injury. Word of you deaths while trying to save the life of you LT. quickly reached us. We were all saddened. Rest in Peace!

Thank You

Dear HN Chester Fontenot,
Thank you for your service as a Hospitalman with the 1st Marine Division, Semper Fi. Thanks for the lives you saved. It is now fall, and as the seasons pass, it is important to remember you all. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
