honoring you...

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. I am 73 and have lived a long and fulfilling life. It is tragic you never had that same opportunity. May you rest in eternal peace.

Remembering John J Fogarty

III
I visited The Wall and found the name Fogarty Inscribed twice, one being John J Fogarty. As someone who shares the same surname it was a poignant moment. The Fogarty name is from an area of Ireland called Eliogarty, County Tipperary and it has a proud history. I’m sure John J lived up to this history.
