Thank You

I never met you, but you live on in your nephew, also Bogard L. Floyd, with whom I have been married to for 25 years. He also served for our country and he is proud to say he was named after his Uncle Sonny, a true hero!!

Gone but not forgotten

I knew you when you was a teenager before you went to Vietnam . I went
to Vietnam in 1969 and thought of you a lot during the year I was there.
The veterans of Kennett VFW post 5443 salute you and remember your service
and sacrifice for our country.
May God Bless You And Keep And May You Rest In Peace

Remembering An American Hero

Dear SSGT Bogard Lafayette Floyd, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter
