School Mate / Marine Corps Brother

Jimmy and his Sister Karen road our Summers Lane School bus to KU. He was fun loving, always laughing and joking.

He visited my brother Bill and myself in Eugene after joining the Corps. My brother had served in Vietnam in the Corps and Jimmy sought out his advice. My brother naturally reassured him.

As fate would have it, I also joined Marine Corps and was in Vietnam near the DMZ when he passed. I learned of his passing by letter from my father. He will be missed and remember by many.

Lest We Forget,
Dennis Schuldheisz
