Hardly a yr drifts, when this “ boy” doesn’t come to mind. I last saw Pat in the 8th gr/ St Matthew’s School. He was the sweetest guy.. kind , a bit shy.We went our separate ways;
Pat never passed “ this way” , again.
I miss you, Pat, in our 75th year, a friendship that never grew.

Thank You
Dear PFC Patrick Flavin,
Thank you for your service as an Indirect Fire Infantryman. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

My Cousin
Patrick was my cousin. I had almost 6 years in the Navy when he passed. His Mom Ginny Flavin was a great lady. She got to go to the Wall and rode a hog that day.

Best Friend
As I recall our walks to East Syracuse High School. We spoke of life sports and out future. We agreed that we would name our first born after each other, only one of us was able to keep that promise.d
You would be very proud of your namesake, our time together was too short. I will always remember our times together thanks Rick for your sacrifice.
