Thank You
Dear Sp4 Michael Flannery,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Michael Edward Flannery
Michael was my 2nd cousin. I remember him and his brother Tommy growing up on our dairy near where he lived with his mom and dad, Uncle Mike and Aunt Peg. Though I was just a child, I always looked up to my handsome cousins and miss them to this day. Tommy, who also served in Vietnam, died in a commercial airplane crash coming back to the States from Vietnam and as such, his name was excluded from being included on on Wall. I will never forget my cousins and the ultimate sacrifice they gave for our country.
