Great Friend

We went fishing on your one year leave from Viet Nam in Modesto, Ca. You were content with your decision to go back to your unit.
You made the ultimate sacrifice only five days after returning. I always remember you, especially on the Veterans Memorial Weekend. You are still here Doyle.

Ride For The Wall, 2017

At the start of the 2017 "Ride For The Wall" (RFTW - Southern Route) in Ontario, California, I was asked to take a Vietnam Veteran, who paid the ultimate price, with me on the ride. It was an honor and a privilege to select your bio card. RFTW "rides for those who can't." I hope you enjoyed the ride with me on my Harley! We traveled over 3,000 miles, ending up in Washington D.C. at the Vietnam Wall. There were a few tough times on the ride but I know you were there to have my back. I intend to permanently keep your bio card in my Harley. When I can no longer ride, I will still keep it. God bless you and your family.
