Bracelet
How excited I was to find Sgt. Fitts when I goggled. Of course sad to read of his death. I have had the POW Bracelet forever. Will print his history and put with the bracelet something for my kids in the future.
My Husband served also during that time. Navy. Was wounded on the Destroyer that he was on by shrapnel from an attack (June 1968). Flown home and his daughter was born 53 hours later. I still remember the Chaplain and the good friends that stood by me.

HERO
This was the first POW bracelet for SSG Fitts that I ever wore and I still have it in my jewelry box it still touches me so deeply the sacrifice that he made and his family. I prayed so hard for his return and for resolution for his family. God bless you and rest easy you're home now.

American Hero
I word SSgt Fitts' POW/MIA bracelet throughout high school....1972, 1973.... I still have this bracelet. I don't wear it every day now as it is very fragile and I don't want it to break in half. I have tried to locate SSgt Fitts' family but have not been able to do so. I would love to be able to send this bracelet to them. My respect to this American Hero who died too soon, making the ultimate sacrifice for his country. God Bless.
