Dear PFC Ronald Fitch,
Thank you for your service as a Motor Vehicle Operator. Today is the 17th anniversary of 9/11, and we remember you all. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Private First Class Ronald James Fitch, Served with the Otter Platoon, Headquarters and Service Company, 3rd Motor Transportation Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, Third Marine Amphibious Force.

As my best friend and classmate through four years of high school, we both entered the Marines soon after. Our paths went down different roads and we became separated. Sadly I received the news that you were not to be coming home from your tour of duty. I visit your resting place as often as possible and
remember all the good times we had. I salute you Ron, at each meeting and
will someday see you again, old friend. Remember, Semper Fi !
