Remembering Barry
Barry I was the little sister of your girlfriend before you left for Vietnam. You were a sweet honorable person. My family was very sad to hear about your death.
Gone way too young. You are in my prayers still.

I was Barry's replacement in Vietnam
If I have the right person, I replaced Barry in Vietnam. I was a First Lieutenant with the 1st Battalion, 14th Artillery, Americal Division. Like Barry, I was the forward observer with C Company, 1st Battalion, 46th Infantry. We operated out of LZ Paradise, on the Batangan Peninsula, Quang Ngai, Vietnam. The infantry company was shocked by his death. As I lay in his bunk, I prayed to God not to go the way he did. You may contact me for further details.
