Remembering An American Hero

Dear LCPL Joseph Kenneth Fish, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter

...from a neighborhood kid

you were just around the corner but always a big brother to slew of neighborhood kids. You were the first one we lost in that terrible war. I know you and Ricky are looking down over the old neighborhood just as you both always did. Your not forgotten but missed by many, Like the Marine Corp, your neighborhood is loyal. RIP Jody

A brother I never knew

Jody was my half-brother. I never knew him, but have heard many stories of his life before he went to war. I'm so fortunate to have the remembrance's of his friends to read. Please continue to honor him with your stories and how you knew of him and what great or little thing he brought to your life
