Gone too soon
I was in Basic Training with William but didn’t know right away that we were both from Rome. We became good friends and even flew home from Ft Polk for a long weekend. I couldn’t believe it when I heard he was gone. He was a good person and a great friend.

Thank You
Dear Sp4 William Finley,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Your 70th birthday is soon. Happy birthday. Labor Day just passed, and we remember you all. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
