Thank You

Dear Lcpl Valarian Finley,
Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Labor Day just passed, and we remember you all. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

What an honor to hear the stories of you Uncle, I was only 4 years old when they brought you home from "nam" and you layed in Grandma's house where you spent some time before bravely serving your country, for the last time. Grandma Geri talked fondly of you in her last days. I never knew the honor I'd have of carrying your Indian name of "Wolf Grass," you are a true war hero, you gave the ultimate sacrifice so that we can live freely. I'll continue too do my best for you in carrying the name "Wolf Grass." The name has brought many contemporary war deeds to my life; rest easy soldier, you have no more struggle and you've made us proud.
