American Hero
Dear Mr. Jay Steven Aston sir,
I am on a school trip to DC and as I was walking through the Vietnam Veterans Memorial I saw a photo somebody had left of you in your honor. I do not know you, but looking through all the kind messages fellow Americans have left on this website, it is clear that you were a courageous serviceman and a great friend to so many. You will not be forgotten.
Thank you for keeping American freedom alive.
I hope to serve in the United States Army in the future, and as I do so, I can only hope to embody your bravery and honor.
Rest in peace, American hero.
