Thank You

Dear Fsgt Philip Fink,
Thank you for your service as an Airborne Qualified Infantry Senior Sergeant. Labor Day just passed, and we remember you all. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Just So You Know

Warrior,

I think about you often even though we were separated by generations. I think back to the period you were born, the same as my grandfathers. I believe your generation was named the "Silent Generation", which is befitting of the only image I have ever seen you in. As a soldier in the US Army also I am very empathetic to the image captured of you called The Strain. However, what is not captured is Freedom we have because of "your strain." Thank you for paving the way for myself and all the others after you. Happy Veterans Day, Phillip Rush Fink.
