Home Now 5/25/2022
William E. Fincham was my half brother, but we grew up in the same household and were as close as full brothers. Billy is home now and resting among those with whom he served. His widow and I had his remains moved to Culpeper National Cemetery this month. He now tests in Section 13, plot 22. Today we honored he and all vets by placing American flags at each resting place.
Then amazingly I got a phone call from the funeral home that assisted us. One of his pals who served with him at Camp Eagle was there the night he was killed and was in Culpeper to pay his respects. We were able to meet and it was closure for all.
