do not stand at my grave and weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

Remembering Dennis
I was watching program a program on Medal of Honor winners and I thought of Dennis and the courage it took as a kid just out of high school to go off to war. Dennis and I were classmates for 4 years (there were 3 in our class). I still use the tie clip he gave me for Christmas gift exchange in 6th grade. I think of Dennis every time I put it on. Thanks for your service and sacrifice Dennis.
