george was my moms best friend. they grew up together in the little town of linden. after he passed the town named a park after him. Now my mom lives in pompton lakes. but every time we visit i go to that park and wonder what happened to george then my mom told me it was her best friend growing up, now im 14 and the perfect opportunity came up a research project on a fallen soldier before our trip to washington dc and the wall. as soon as i told my mom of the project i could tell she got chocked up. so now im just saying that im very sorry and i love doing this project. sympathy.

I will always remember you George - happy go lucky, always smiling, great athlete, great guy, great friend to those that knew you. I've been to the wall many times over the years and have always stopped to say hello. May God bless you and your family.
