Thank You
Dear Sgt Julius Faircloth,
Thank you for your service as a Medical NCO. Thank you for the lives you saved. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

From SGT Douglas Nichols (Med Evac Sgt HQ Troop) 3/4 Cav 1968
Buddy was my replacement. I had just left on my RR to Australia and when I returned I found out that on 15 Oct 1968. SGT Julius C. Faircloth, and SP4 Joseph. Riffle with Charlie Troop, had been killed. I was stunned, and realized how tenuous all of us held on to life over there. I am so glad I have found a way to express my condolences to Wife and Family. We lost eight Medics in one (3) month period in the late summer of 1668 including my driver on the Medic 'track'. and many wounded. We miss them all still, and Honor their comitmenjt to our country.
