Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. In the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years. May you rest in eternal peace.

You were only 21, how young! I’m an old lady now, my love. When I think of all the years that we did not have, we’ll, my heart breaks. Oh, how I loved the time we were together. You would be so proud of our darling Dana, as am I. So often I see you in her. I tell her, “You got that from your daddy.” We’ll always love you.

May those who served never be forgotten. Rest in peace SGT. Faircloth, I salute your brave soul. My heart goes out to you and your family.
