For Whom He Died
What was his name?
Arthur Richard Ewing
What was his cry?
God Bless America
For whom did he die?
He died for his comrades, for his country, for every single person who would join him in saying God Bless America both great and small whether he knew them or not and even if they would never know him. He died for me.
I thank you, Arthur, from the bottom of my heart for your selfless gift to this great nation of ours. You will never know how your life has changed the way every American thinks and lives. We are forever indebted to you. You will never be forgotten. God Bless America and May You Rest in Peace. (Posted as part of the Gridley High School posting project.)
