In your honor, I salute you, Mike Evans.
Mike, we went to high school together, although you were about 3 years older than me. But as I was trying my hardest on the Freshman football team, and sometimes wanting to give up, I saw you and your toughness and dedication and to me and others on the team we said "Come on let's get tough like Mike Evans!" I was a freshman in college when your life was taken from all of us who admired you. But you and your service meant much to me. So I joined the Army and served also. I shall never forget you and will look forward to saluting you in Heaven. God bless you, Mike.

Dear Mike, I never met you, but you were my dad’s little brother. You died when I was 3 yrs old, serving our country so bravely. My dad talked about you often, he was so proud of you. I’m glad I finally got to see what your ultimate and sacred sacrifice was,. Thank you so much from our hearts for that. The world needs more like you. I hope to meet you in heaven one day and be introduced to you by my dad and give you a hug. Thank you.

Dear CPL Charles Evans,
Thank you for your service as an Armor Crewman. It is important for us to remember all of you. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
