Remembering you
I remember the terrible time when you died. Finally have some peace. Today a fellow solider and friend made contact with me. The word "other" in your causes of death has haunted me for so long. Now I know the story of your mission and what happened.. you died as a result of the war on your mission. A freak accident was God's way of bringing you home.. Now your spirit can rest in peace because now we know.

Thank You
Dear PFC Jerry Ervin,
Thank you for your service as an Airborne Qualified Infantryman. We remember all you who gave their all. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
