Hello Phil, You & I had a lot of laughs together during our tour in Vietnam. I really cherished our close friendship. you had a really a great sense of humor & you knew how to make people laugh. I hope you & I meet in the next life.

Dear Sgt Philip Erickson,
Thank you for your service as a Radio Operator. Your 72nd birthday is soon, happy birthday. We remember all you who gave their all. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Life for you just began and ended way too soon. I know you are in a better place waiting for me and the rest of your brothers in arms. Peace be with you. Tell God I said hi.
