CORRECTION
Richard graduated in 1965 from Milton High School. He was attending Marshall University when he went into the Army. He was accidentally killed near Da Nang. They were burning trash and somehow a wooden box of live shells was thrown into the fire and it exploded. Richard was hit with shrapnel.
