Never Forgotten
Dear Soldier,
I am writing to you on behalf of our Gridley High School Posting Project. Our high school is posting remembrances to Vietnam Veterans. Some of us have done 200 postings a semester. My name is Amanda Kinney, and I am 17 years old. You were close to my age when you fought for our country and gave the Supreme Sacrifice. You died fighting for the country you and I believe in, the United States of America. I sit here and wonder would I have the courage to do what you did, and I honestly don’t think I could. I would be so scared to go through what you soldiers went through, not knowing if you would live to see another day, not knowing if you would get to accomplish all that you had planed on accomplishing after high school and college, but you were strong and brave! I just want to thank you for your Supreme Sacrifice. You will never be forgotten.
Never Forgotten,
Amanda

Thank You
American hero,
I am posting remembrances for fallen soldiers of the Vietnam War as part of the Gridley High School Posting Project. It is with the utmost respect that I thank you for your contribution to our nation. It is men like you who fought so bravely in times of peril that have earned the right to be called heroes. You will never be forgotten.
Gratefully,
Joel Campbell
