Captain Danny Day Entrican was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for Valor, with Combat Distinguishing Device (V) and Oak Leaf Cluster, for his exemplary courage in action. He served as a Special Forces Qualified Infantry Unit Commander and was assigned to RT ALASKA, TF-1 AE, MACV-SOG, 5TH SF GROUP.

My mom passed a couple months ago. While going through her things I found a pow bracelet with this name on it. I am very curious how she got it. And why...? I treasure it bc it was something I knew she had before I was born. I wear it. And started finding all I can about Capt Danny D. Entrican I can.

We went through OCS, Airborne, and SFOC together. You went to CCN, I to CCC. You were the funnyest guy I have ever known. I miss you!
