Cousin Ernie
I remember you well Ernie. Going to your house in NJ and being allowed to hang out with the big kids in the basement! I still have the letter you sent me from Vietnam with some Vietnamese money as a souvenir. I was almost 7 when you were killed just a few weeks after you got to Vietnam. I have clear images of the casket at your funeral and when a soldier gave the folded flag to your mom - my Great Aunt Annie. It was just a couple of years before that that your dad had died. So much loss for your mom and brother. So many tragic losses in that war. You are forever 19 my cousin.
