Chain reaction.

Steve..Will always be remembered for the chain reaction his death caused..I always think of the movie.it's a wonderful life how one person's life can change everything. When my siblings and me are no longer here...I pray people will not forget his sacrifice and if I make it to heaven..I hope to see him....Richard

THANK YOU

Dear Lcpl Stephen Eichelberger,
Thank you for your service as an Antitank Assaultman. We remember all you who gave their all. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Always my hero.

Steve not a day goes by where I don't think of you. You were always my hero big brother. When you left to fight I always thought you would come home because I thought you were a superman. I always wonder what my life would have been like if you would have come home and we could have had more time together. Love, Joe.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear LCPL Stephen John Eichelberger, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter
