Lance Corporal Stephen John Eichelberger, Served with Company F, 2nd Battalion, 26th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, Third Marine Amphibious Force.

A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.

Steve..Will always be remembered for the chain reaction his death caused..I always think of the movie.it's a wonderful life how one person's life can change everything. When my siblings and me are no longer here...I pray people will not forget his sacrifice and if I make it to heaven..I hope to see him....Richard
