do not stand at my grave and weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
As long as you are remembered you will never truly die....
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
As long as you are remembered you will never truly die....

Veteran's Day 2016
Our local newspaper honored the 10 young men that were KIA in Vietnam, from our county. I was at my mother's and just happened to pick up the paper and, on the front page, staring back at me, was Steve. The article said they were looking for more pictures of Steve, so I submitted a few this morning. They are 48 years old, so I hope they can viewed and they can be a good memory for all of his brothers in Eagle Dustoff. Steve was drafted 4 months after we were married so our time together was short but my love and respect for this man lives on. There are 58,000 families who know how I feel and will never quit feeling. God bless and keep you.
