THE WALL OF FACES

I was 10 years old when James went MIA. I wore 2 or 3 of his bracelets until they cracked in half. I corresponded with his Mother for years until she died. I’ve never forgotten about James. I’m 64. I try to post about him on my Fb page every year. God’s speed James. You were my hero and still are.

I have Captain Egans bracelet going on thirty years, it was damaged and repaired. I plan to wear it now for the rest of my life. God speed James, and thank you for defending our country.

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrances from those who wore/wear your MIA bracelet are moving. It remains my fervent hope you will be returned home after all these years.

My name is Kevin Barrett and I am a cousin to James, his Grandmother’s maiden name was Barrett, she emigrated from Tipperary Ireland to America over 100 years ago. I remember as a child the great pride my Father and Aunt’s had for James.
To give up you’re life for the freedom of others is indeed the ultimate sacrifice.
