THE WALL OF FACES

I was just a naive child in 1971 from a non- military family when it was “in fashion” to wear POW bracelets. I hadn’t thought of it until I just finished reading Kristin Hannah’s book about the women in the army nurse corps in Viet Nam and I instantly recalled it was your name on my bracelet. I’m glad the country eventually attempted to correct the horrible treatment viet nam veterans received on their return home and fought to find, return, and honor all those who served. Thank you.

I have had your bracket since 1970.I just found it today in my jewerly box. Even though I have not worn it much I have never forgotten.

I’ve had your gold bracelet for 55 years every day. Now I keep it where so can see it, on my dresser, wear it special occasions especially Memorial Day and Veterans Day. Still in my thoughts and prayers.
