You are still in our hearts and minds
This week after swimming, I was in the LA Fitness locker room in Missouri City, TX. Another swimmer aacknowledged me being a veteran and asked me when and where I had served in the US Army, 7/17 Air Cav, infantry. When I said 1969-1971 with 14 months in Vietnam, he told me about his dad, SGT Eaden, who was killed in action when he was 9 months old. Then he proceeded to describe his father in such loving terms and how he had given his life for his men and his country. It was so moving and it brought back memories to me of buddies killed in Vietnam. SGT Eaden I will add you to my prayer list along with my other Army buddies. Your son is keeping your memory alive by talking about you whenever he has the opportunity. He has quite an audience in the LA Fitness locker room. RIP

We Will Remember
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
