Remembering An American Hero
Dear SP4 Craig Alan Arndt, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
With respect, Sir
Curt Carter

Thinking of you
Craig, I think about our talks at Campbell & Nam often. I don't remember what we talked about, but, they had an impact on me. I think of you often, as well as the others troopers I knew who also Soared with the Eagles.

Still miss you buddy!
Craig was my best friend in Vietnam. We did everything together. He risked his life to get me onto a medivac chopper under fire and then was killed a month after I was wounded. I still miss him every day.
We were in A Co., 1/502 Inf. 101st ABN
If that was your unit, or if you are friend or family of Craig, I'd like to hear from you. I've been looking for his parents. They had me as a guest one weekend in 1968, but I lost contact long ago.
