"Skinny Bob" was my much loved brother in law.

Every Memorial Day I honor all who have served and given their all but you are the first who comes to my mind. I was so young but your death really hit our hearts and home. We loved you so much. I miss you Bob. I think of you often. In my heart and mind you will be forever young and loved so much. God Bless America and all who have served.

Thank You

Dear Cpl Robert Durall,
Thank you for your service with the 1st Cavalry, I do not know your MOS. Independence Day is approaching, and we remember your sacrifice. We remember all you who gave their all. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Skinny Bob

I recall the day you and Ken came to the platoon. You were thin and scared and nervous. I called you Skinny Bob, and it stuck. At first I didn't think you'd make a good grunt. Too loud. Too clumsy. But you learned quick and like everyone else, I liked you. A few months later, I rotated to a rear job. When I heard how you, Ken and two others died, I wept. Finally found you.
